Hi there and thanks for visiting.
This blog is a collection of things that interest me relating to radio communications, stuff that flies, electronics and a bit of bushwalking.
I have built the analyser using a Nano but it does not run for me.
Would you be kind enough to share your code for the Nano and the pc.
Sure, have sent it to you email address.
Would you be so kind as to send me the circuit in PDF format as well as the firmware for the Arduino Nano?
Hi, will send to your email address.
Your QRP end fed for 40, 20, and 10m. I am confused by the markings and connections of the pri & sec on your drawing, compared the number of turns. Further to this, the connections of the bifilar windings are not all that clear in your drawing or photographs. I do have a theory on it, but would like to hear from you.
Apologies for the slow reply, the primary and secondary are labelled the wrong way around in the diagram! Will fix it soon and take a better photo of the windings.
Tnx for the response. I have also built the MMR40, but not with the kit. works OK but having great problems suppressing the carrier. I used 4.915Mhz filter.
I read your article on your MMR40- very good! 73’s Bob…….ZS6RZ
Hy glenn i read THE articule of THE analyzer whith pleasure but can you share THE PCB file and THE nano file my adres is email@example.com
from Gerard from THE netherlands
I wont be able to send the files until next week,
Hi Glen, my name is John VK4DP from Barcaldine, Central Western Queensland AKA the Bush.
I have all the components for the analyser, and was wondering if I could purchase the PCB from You.
Heres to a great new Year, and hopes if I finish the analyser project, I can tune my Hexbeam
I am not really set up for manufacturing boards aside from prototypes (which take a while). There are a quite a few places on the web that will make a board if you send them the artwork. Good luck with your Hexbeam, would like to build one myself some time.
Have a great new year, Glenn VK3YY.
I came across this blog on the NBS mast and I’m impressed. I was wondering if you could clarify some things for me in relation to the pulley cap that sits at the top of the mast. I have a 12m length of 89mm X 89mm here, so I have homebrewed my base section. Basically a “H” beam that is sunk into the ground were the mast section pivots off will have winch system. I did purchase the hazer section from Dennis, VK4SX, that will fit straight onto my mast subsequently allowing my YAESU rotator to be mounted.
I have sourced the same pulley from GENNIE where I intend to make this section up. I believe this is the same pulley that NBS uses on the cap section.
From what I can gather the pulley would someway be mounted onto a shaft or a bolt into the 93mm section running right through. All the weight of the hazer and antenna is resting on this pulley . Can you please tell me how the pulley mounts into the 93mm section and does the shaft rest on the top of the 89mm mast section. I hope this makes sense to you!
All the pictures I have viewed on the internet seem to indicated the hazer is right angle to the winch that is mounted at the bottom of the mast where the pulley is the same side facing as what the winch is.
Would be please be able to take some pictures of the winch section looking up to the hazer. I’m not sure if you did take any pictures of the pulley section before mounting. I did try to email you this with the email posted to QRZ, but it bounced back to me. Hence posting here.
Cheers Jaye VK2SD
Hi Jaye, will email to your QRZ address.
While building a Chinese 45w pa for the ft-817 (which we cant get to work yet) i stumbled across your posting in the dxzone and it triggered my interest.
What a neat setup! I was wondering if you can guide me to a schematic.
Tnx in advance.

There should be a link in the write up to the schematic.
First of all, my congratulations for the excellent site and information sharing.
I have a request to you. I have a TR-PP-11 that is not working correctly that I would like to repair but I’missing the schematic. Can you share it with me?
Hi Sergio, yes, please send me your email address.
Spotted your call sign on FSQ 7104Khz between 04.30z and 0500z.Yesterday
Tried to e-mail you but got a wrong address return
My location RE79so
I’ve just been reading the page on your website about the TR-PP-11. I noticed that you said you had managed to obtain a copy of the circuit diagram. I’ve been looking for the circuit for quite some time with no success. I have a TR-PP-11 that basically works except the output power on transmit is very low. Doubtless a driver or PA fault.
So the obvious question, do you still have the circuit and if so could I beg a copy of it from you?
Hi Alan, I have sent you the schematic.
MMR40 can you send your files
hi mmr 40 Would you like to share the printing circuit and the scheme of qrp I want to try too
